C.S.A. Section 901 and 1103,1 am pleased to forward the nomination for a Certificate of Eligibility to Brigadier General in the Anny National Guard for Colonel Jeffrey S. Heasley. The projected assignment is Land Component Commander, Army Staff Element Joint Force Headquarters, Pennsylvania Army National Guard, vice vacant. Colonel Heasley is responsible for coordinated staff operations in both peacetime and wartime operational environments. He is responsible for training the division staff, developing teamwork, and coordinating all aspects of personnel, intelligence, security, operations, training, lo^stics, legal, inspector general and other activities to enhance readiness and mobilization. Colonel Heasley provides staff supervision of the main Command Post. He maintains effective relationships and synchronization with higher, lower, and adjacent units. He acts as principle advisor to the Division Commander and represents him as authorized. He ensures day to day activities of the division are carried out and that alt tasks/missions are accomplished. Colonel Heasley was commissioned in 1991 throu^ the Reserve Officer Training Corps at Clarion Univemity, Clarion, P^msylvania. He held both company and field grade commands and staff level positions in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard to include the following; Fire Direction Officer, Executive Officer, Battery Commander, Fire Support Officer, Battalion S3 and Executive Officer. He served as Effects Coordinator, Deputy Fire Support Coordinator and Commander, Company A, Operations, 28*'' Infantry Division. Colonel Heasley served as Fire Support Coordinator prior to his current assignment as Chief of Staff, Headquarters Support Company, Headquarters, 28*'' Infantry Division, Harrisburg and deployment in Kuwait. Colonel Heasley was bom in Clarion, Pennsylvania in March 1969. He graduated from Clarion University, Clarion, Peimsylvania, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. He also graduated iix>m United States Army War College, Carlisle, Peimsylvania, with a Master of Strategic Studies. Under the provisions of 51 Pa. C.S.A. Section 901 and 1103,1 am pleased to forward thenomination for a Certificate of Eligibility to Brigadier General in the Anny National Guard forColonel Jeffrey S. Heasley. The projected assignment is Land Component Commander, ArmyStaff Element Joint Force Headquarters, Pennsylvania Army National Guard, vice vacant.

Colonel Heasley is responsible for coordinated staff operations in both peacetime andwartime operational environments.
